How the treatment works
The Hydrofacial portion is a multi-step, deep-cleansing and hydrating facial that exfoliates dead skin, clears impurities, and infuses nourishing serums. After the cleansing and infusion steps, LED Therapy is applied as part of the same visit to support the overall finish. This combination is intended to improve texture, glow and hydration with no downtime.
Results depend on starting skin condition: dull, congested, or dehydrated skin will respond differently than already-smooth skin. Local factors such as Elmhurst’s seasonal climate — humid summers and cold winters — and daily commuting habits influence oiliness and hydration, which in turn shape how long the visible glow and hydrated feel last after treatment.
What to expect during treatment
A short consultation begins each appointment so the technician can confirm skin concerns and any sensitivities. The full visit is scheduled for 60 MINUTES; during that time the facial steps are performed in sequence, followed by the LED portion. We aim to keep sessions efficient for clients who travel from nearby Jackson Heights, Corona or who prefer after-work appointments.
Most clients report a comfortable experience: you may feel gentle exfoliation, a light extraction of impurities, and the cool application of serums. The LED Therapy segment is noninvasive and typically experienced as a relaxing, hands-off phase. Many clients notice an immediate hydrated glow without the need for recovery time.
Aftercare, timing, and scheduling
After the combined Hydrofacial and LED session, aftercare is intentionally simple. Keep skin moisturized and protect it from direct sun with sunscreen. Avoid aggressive physical exfoliants and strong actives until the skin has settled. Because there is no downtime, most people return to normal activities right away, choosing product care tailored during the consultation.
The service is offered at $175 and lasts exactly 60 MINUTES. Perma Glow Shanna’s Elmhurst location is convenient to Queens Boulevard and 74th Street transit connections, which makes early-morning, late-evening, or weekend bookings popular. Bring a list of current skincare products and any allergies so the clinician can personalise recommendations.
