Results typically last 12 to 18 months, depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. The included touch-up stabilizes pigment and improves longevity; annual refreshers are recommended to maintain saturation and shape.
Most clients feel only light pressure or pinching; we apply a topical numbing cream before and during the procedure. Discomfort is minimal and brief. Communicate any sensitivity during treatment so we can reapply numbness and ensure you remain comfortable throughout.
Allow healing for at least seven to ten days before applying lipstick. Initial scabbing and fading occur; once healed, use gentle balm. Full color settles after the touch-up and roughly four to six weeks. Avoid harsh products while lips are healing.
We perform a thorough consultation and patch test for sensitive skin. We use sterile, hypoallergenic pigments and single-use needles. Certain conditions or medications may require clearance from a provider. If concerned, disclose sensitivities so we can adapt technique and products for safety.
The service includes the initial lip blush appointment plus one scheduled touch-up, typically four to eight weeks later. The touch-up perfects color, fills any retention gaps, and refines shape. Additional maintenance sessions can be booked as pigments fade over time.
Yes — the procedure can visually correct mild asymmetry and soften the appearance of scars by camouflaging color differences and reshaping borders. Heavily scarred tissue may need extra sessions or lower pigment uptake; a consultation will determine realistic outcomes and tailored technique.
