Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Lip Blush - Correction(previously Other Artist).
We require fully healed prior treatment; recommend waiting at least 8–12 weeks after the initial procedure or any active healing. During your consultation we assess tissue health, pigment stability, and determine the safest timing for correction.
Correction improves pigment placement and shape but longevity varies; pigments fade over years. Many clients enjoy long-term improvement, though occasional touch-ups every 12 to 36 months maintain color and crispness depending on skin type and lifestyle.
Comfort is a priority. We use topical numbing and gentle techniques to minimize pain; most clients describe pressure or mild stinging only. Aftercare includes swelling control and soothing balm; discomfort typically subsides within a day or two.
Many corrections are completed in one session when skin and pigments respond well; however, some cases require two appointments: initial correction then a follow-up to perfect color and symmetry. We'll outline expected sessions during your consultation.
Follow specific aftercare to protect pigment and healing: avoid sun, swimming, heavy exfoliation, and active ingredients. Apply recommended balm, keep lips clean, and avoid picking. Full results appear after healing and any necessary touch-up.
Yes, we assess existing pigments and skin undertones to blend or neutralize unwanted hues. Sometimes full color correction or removal is needed first. A thorough consultation and patch test ensure we achieve the closest, most natural match possible.
