Get answers to common questions about PMU Removal (No Laser Removal) - 3 Sessions.
Our method uses a gentle, non-laser saline-based lifting technique combined with controlled epidermal removal. Each appointment lifts pigment progressively so unwanted ink fades over three spaced sessions, minimizing trauma and producing a significantly lighter canvas for future correction.
Discomfort varies by person but is generally mild to moderate. We apply topical numbing for comfort and work efficiently to limit pain. Most clients report brief stinging during treatment and manageable tenderness during the short healing period.
We recommend six to eight weeks between sessions to allow complete healing and pigment migration. This interval ensures accurate assessment of fading and reduces risk of over-treatment, letting the skin recover fully before the next gentle removal appointment.
Many pigment types respond well, but older, densely placed, or certain colored inks (blue, green) can be more persistent. During consultation we evaluate your pigment type and tailor expectations; some cases may require extra sessions or alternative approaches.
You should wait until the treated area fully heals and fading stabilizes before corrective PMU. Typically we advise waiting four to eight weeks after the final removal session so the skin is ready and pigment levels are predictable for rework.
Common side effects include temporary redness, swelling, and light scabbing; scarring is rare when performed correctly. Follow aftercare: keep area clean, avoid sun, swimming, and heavy sweating, and use recommended ointments to support healing and optimal fading.
