Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Scar removal with ink (single session).

A single session usually lasts about 60–90 minutes, including consultation, colour matching, and precise pigment application. Exact time depends on scar size, depth, and location, and we discuss expectations before beginning.

Most clients feel mild discomfort similar to light scratching. We apply topical numbing to minimize pain, adjust technique for comfort, and provide cooling and aftercare advice to reduce sensitivity during recovery.

You’ll notice immediate visual improvement once pigments are applied, but the final appearance settles over 4–6 weeks as the skin heals and colour softens. Touch-ups are optional for further refinement.

Risks are minimal when performed by a trained technician: temporary redness, mild swelling, pigment shift, or rare allergic reaction. We conduct a consultation and provide clear aftercare to reduce complications and aid healing.

Avoid sun exposure, self-tanners, chemical peels, and blood-thinning medications for several days prior. Come with clean, makeup-free skin. We’ll review medical history and expectations to tailor pigment choice and technique.

This technique camouflages the scar by matching pigment to surrounding skin; it does not remove scar tissue. Results are long-lasting but may fade over time, and some scars may need additional sessions or treatments.
