Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Scar Removal with Ink (Single Session).

Results vary by scar type, skin tone and individual healing. Many clients enjoy long-lasting camouflage after a single session, though some fading occurs over months. Occasional touch-ups may be recommended to maintain optimal color and blending.

Comfort is managed with topical numbing and gentle technique. Most clients report only mild pressure or brief stinging during the procedure. Sensitivity varies by area and individual tolerance; we monitor comfort throughout and pause if needed.

Best candidates have well-healed, stable scars such as acne, surgical or minor trauma scars. Hypertrophic scars and keloids require specialist evaluation and may not respond predictably. A consultation determines suitability and realistic expectations for camouflage.

Avoid sun exposure, tanning and retinoids for two weeks before your appointment. Discontinue blood-thinning medications only if cleared by your doctor. Arrive with clean skin and inform us of medical history, medications, or allergies.

Initial area may appear darker and slightly raised for several days. Scabbing can occur and typically resolves within 7–14 days. Final color settles over 4–8 weeks; full assessment at a follow-up helps determine any touch-up needs.

Many clients achieve desired blending in a single session, but follow-up or touch-up visits are sometimes recommended to refine color or cover fading. We evaluate results after healing and advise if an additional session is beneficial.
